GPS guides Team to Second Place in Urban Assault Ride

After starting yesterday's Tucson in , managed a 2nd place finish in the co-ed division and 5th overall. Not bad for a first attempt!

Marcus and Sandy did not need their to track down the mystery checkpoints, but relied on Marcus's for stats and navigation. Marcus had downloaded their planned route (each team picks its own route between checkpoints) to the Forerunner, and even though it's not a "mapping GPS" per se its basic route display screen and "beeps" ahead of turns were invaluable for quick navigation through neighborhood blocks.

The team had so much fun that possible appearances at the Denver and Fort Collins are being considered.
